KENSINGTON
A project requiring a natural palette of materials, our brief was driven by architects Studio Indigo. All finishes have been created from quartzite which was sourced from a quarry in the Italian dolomites. A stone wall in a cleft finish was produced to exacting dimensions, whilst the internal pool tiles are calibrated sizes with a honed surface. The honed surface dramatically alters the appearance of the material, whilst giving a soft luxurious feel to the touch. The surround stone is an Italian limestone quarried form Lecce in Puglia.
